Onboarding & Induction
Simplified onboarding experience, Global Investment Bank
Problem
This client wanted to implement an onboarding portal to bring new hires up to speed and ensure a successful transition into the firm. As it was the firm’s first contact with the new hires, the client was particularly eager to ensure the portal was configured to meet its exact brand and communications protocols.
Solution
Intuition implemented a customized learning portal to significantly simplify the overall user experience for the client’s new employees. Intuition’s Learning Portals are tailored solutions built on top of the Intuition Technology platform and are designed specifically to simplify the learning process for users and are designed specifically to meet the needs of audiences that are external to the enterprise.

- Technology
Overview
Once deployed, the client’s administrators could easily create, edit, and manage site content without relying on any internal IT services or Intuition support. This included the ability to assign tasks, and upload important documents and other resource files that users could download and view. The portal also supported customized views which allowed users to see unique content based on their line of business, region, role location, or any other defined group type.
Underpinned by a learning platform, it meant that training courses could be launched and tracked from the portal, allowing it to be a central resource point for new starters as they began their training program. The ability to create customized learning paths for groups also allowed courses to be aligned with individual training needs.
Outcome
The portal became a great communications vehicle greatly reducing email volume, user questions, and enabling more efficient onboarding and program information. The client estimated that linking the existing campus hire database to the portal reduced labor-hours by 1,500 hours while reducing time spent on general program administration by 600 hours.
Risk & Compliance
Role-based compliance delivery, Wholesale Pharmaceutical Distributor
Problem
As part of a launch for a new company-wide Code of Conduct, our client wanted to distribute its annual compliance training assignments to a large audience.
Solution
Intuition worked with the client to scope, design, and develop a solution that included highly engaging eLearning courses and a custom web-based portal that enabled the client to profile employees and provide them with a targeted training curriculum.

Overview
Phase 1
Initially, Intuition designed and developed a story-based interactive training module to accompany the new Code of Conduct. The module consisted of a series of short video vignettes with decision points to illustrate the Code of Conduct in action. This was aimed at helping employees make compliant decisions within the context of common situations they may encounter in a normal working day. Intuition also developed interactive eLearning modules for Government Contracting (Procurement Integrity Act), Healthcare Fraud and Abuse, and “toolboxes” to help managers handle real-world situations.
Phase 2
Next, Intuition worked with the client to develop and launch a Training Assignment Portal (TAP) to enable the client to profile users, provide targeted training, and increase the quality of HR data through integration with its enterprise HRIS and LMS.
Outcome
As a highly automated system, the TAP provides pinpoint targeting of training while greatly reducing the administrative tasks associated with the deployment of compliance training programs. Administrators have greater visibility into user profiling responses and access to various reports that assist in managing risk and monitoring employees’ compliance.
Customer & Partner Education
Enhanced sales and client-servicing channel, Global Investment Bank
Problem
A global investment bank approached Intuition to help develop a new structured products portal to provide its clients with an enhanced sales and client-servicing channel.
Solution
By working with the client to establish the required workflows, Intuition was able to seamlessly integrate a learning portal within the distribution platform, allowing for fulfilment of product and process obligations without the need for multiple systems.
Elements of Solution
- Advisory Services
- Technology
- Custom Content
Overview
Intuition was selected for the project based on its expertise in providing targeted education to third parties as well as its financial content development expertise.
Given the high-profile nature of the project, key consideration was given to the seamless integration of features, ease of navigation, and a simplified user journey.
The learning portal had to integrate closely with the existing platform but also required its own feature set, including content management capability, customizable workflows, and the ability to generate data from multiple sources.
The platform needed to cater for both internal and third-party access restrictions based on multiple audience profiles. In addition, the interface needed to provide the dashboards and feature set required by management, sales, marketing, and end users. From a workflow perspective, one of the key aspects was restricting and controlling functionality based on viewing and completing training material.
Outcome
The program has already been rolled out to tens of thousands of users and is now being evaluated for expansion across regions and asset classes.

Overview
Two-day on-site initial workshop
To fully understand the unique requirements of the Client’s global audience, existing systems, and desired infrastructure, our implementation team held an initial workshop with senior leadership, distributor marketing, procurement, and software development teams.
Two weeks after initial workshop
A functional specification was delivered, with high-level wireframes and workflows that described how the system would be designed and implemented. Technical details were provided on required integration points, development, and test environments. To reduce internal costs, the client requested and received a detailed breakdown of areas where their technical resources would be required.
Four weeks after initial workshop
After the functional specification document was approved by the client, the development of the solution began. Using an agile methodology, new features were developed, and made available for the client to review for feedback and testing. Due to the complexity surrounding integrations, it was imperative that any potential issues were identified early in the process. Daily status calls were conducted to provide full visibility into the status of the project during this critical phase.
Outcome
The live system was delivered for release to the client’s distributors. Access was provided through the integrated system via the customer website as well as native apps for iOS and Android. The client now had offline access to all content. Distributors immediately started accessing training across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices in high volumes.
Corporate Integrity Agreements
Fulfilling Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) obligations, Global Pharmaceutical Company
Problem
Our client, a major global pharmaceutical company, was placed under a Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) which mandated the delivery of four hours of training to all employees, contractors, and relevant vendors within 120 days.
Solution
Within fifteen days, Intuition had developed and deployed a custom learning portal, complete with necessary workflows, to deliver the required training to meet the diverse audience profiles and requirements. Within 80 days, the new training courses had been designed, developed, and rolled out. Within three weeks of the rollout, over 8,000 users had completed over 60,000 hours of training, allowing the client to fulfil its obligation within the tight timeline.

Solution Overview
Intuition developed four practical and engaging courses to meet the mandate within 80 days, leaving sufficient time for covered and relevant covered persons to complete the training by the 120-day deadline. After the client’s internal LMS broke down under stress testing, Intuition developed a custom learning portal to deliver the requisite training to vendors and a proprietary LMS for employees. The Vendor Training Portal and employee LMS were up and running within 15 business days, and the training was launched to both populations on schedule.
In addition to the custom development and technical build, Intuition provided a fully managed service that included consultancy on the Standard Operating Procedures required to adhere to the CIA and identification of relevant third-party organizations and contacts that needed training. Throughout the program, Intuition monitored staff training progress and provided round-the-clock support to ensure the requisite functional, technical, and customer support was in place to ensure completion.
Outcome
Over 8,000 employees and third parties completed over 60,000 hours of training through the site in the initial three-week training period allowing the Client to fully comply with its CIA obligation within the 120-day timeline.
Reporting and Data Analytics
Enhanced data and analytics delivery, Global Pharmaceutical Company
Problem
This global pharmaceutical client needed to ensure that every employee, as well as its partner network, had completed all necessary Compliance and Regulation Training by a certain date. When rolling out this training, the client wanted to simultaneously collect data on how its staff and partners were taking the training.
Solution
Intuition worked closely with the client to fully understand its compliance and regulation and training needs, along with the specific data points the client was interested in capturing. With this in mind, Intuition developed a suite of custom courses that, through xAPI, allowed the client to delve into the actual behaviors and responses of its users.
